Tried and Tested
Generally used by sportsmen and/or musicians, it isn’t something that I would have thought of as a physiotherapy aid so I was more than pleased when this handy finger exerciser improved my dexterity in a matter of months. I speak from personal experience for my particular needs but I believe that it will be of use to others wishing to improve dexterity or weakness in hands and arms.
It comes in different levels of resistance and is small enough to slip into your top pocket to practice with whenever you have a spare moment, stuck in traffic, watching TV, part of your routine or whenever you want.
I started on one of the lowest XX-light but next one up is X-Light which is 3lb pressure per finger which is ideal for children aged 12 or seniors with diminishing dexterity. There is a variety of resistances up to 10lb pressure but it all depends on the individual so see the size guide before you buy. All colour coded for easy reference.
See below what this handy gadget can do:
Each finger of the hand is powered by a completely separate system of muscles and tendons located in the hand, wrist, and forearm.
Most of the hand’s power is generated by larger muscles in the forearm while finer movements are controlled by smaller muscles in the hand itself. Our wrist is the bridge which stabilizes the interaction of the hand & forearm.
Develops individual finger strength, flexibility and coordination
Builds hand and forearm strength
Use the buttons alone to exercise fingers or the entire unit for complete hand and forearm exercise
Comes with illustrated instruction pamphlet
